The image at left is the logo for our newsletter.

The earth taken from space, represents our connection to the world.

The yellow text in front of the earth is shaped like a fish,

an ancient symbol for Christ.

Website Tips

·  Underlines

o Underlines are only used for hyperlinks on web pages.  If something is underlined, you can click on it and go to another page.

·  Cross Links

o The same page can be accessed from many different places.  This is a great feature because whenever a link to the Home page for instance, is appropriate, it can become a hyperlink. Notice at the right where there are several Home links.  They all go to the same familiar Home page.

·  Returning to a previously viewed page.

o There are very few back links on these pages, because the browser has a back button built-in.  To see the last page you viewed, click on this button (usually a back arrow) on the browser or use Alt Back Arrow (Hold the Alt key and type ).  After you go back, you can go forward by using Alt Forward Arrow ().

·  Your help is needed

o If you see anything that doesn't seem to work right, email rr@twcny.rr.com.

o If you have ideas for things you would like to see modified or added, email rr@twcny.rr.com.

o We can't promise to do everything, but we welcome your comments, criticisms and suggestions.

There are several new items on the website.

·      Sunday Bulletin

o       This week the bulletin contains the Cantata performed by the Senior Choir for Palm Sunday.

o       You can get to the bulletin using the link on the Home page or from Calendar/Bulletin.

·      Audio from old services

o       Each week the bulletin and audio files are stored in Sermons.

o       Anytime you want to hear an old service, you may go into Sermons and click on the date.

o       Services from Pastor Pat's arrival, though 12/31 have been saved to a CD.  If you have need to get to them contact Randa.

·      April Copperspire

o       The Copperspire is published every month in an electronic version as well as the print version.

o       It can be accessed from the Home page or Copperspire.

o       Information is organized into pages, with a cover page listing the topics on each page.

o       If you would prefer to use the electronic version and no longer receive the print version tell Kari.

·      April Calendar

o       The April Calendar can be found by clicking the link on the Home page or from Calendar/April Calendar

·      Cantata

o       "Rejoice the Lord is King", a cantata by John Purifoy, was performed during the Palm Sunday service.

o       Information and links to the audio files can be found by clicking This Week's Bulletin from the Home page or Calendar/Bulletin.

o       All links in the bulletin load audio files except CANTATA that loads the Cantata bulletin which has additional audio links to each of the sections of the cantata.

·      Robert O'Meara Scholarship

o       Applications for the Robert O'Meara Scholarship are now being taken until May 15.

o       Information about how to qualify, and the application forms are available from the Home page or News/.doc or .pdf.

·      Heritage Sunday Recipes

o       Recipes for Welsh Cookies, Norwegian Vafler and Krumkake can be found from News/Heritage Sunday Recipes.

o       If you have a recipe you would like to share, mail it to the church fpresbyt@twcny.rr.com or use Contact Us from the website to mail it to Randa.

·      An old feature brought back

o       The News category was used when Pastor Pat came.  Later, with the publishing of the Weekly News, the Copperspire and the Monthly Calendar, it no longer held current news and so was deleted.

o       The Robert O'Meara Scholarship, the Website Newsletter and the Heritage Sunday recipes are news that needs to stay around longer than a bulletin or a Copperspire, so the News category has been resurrected and will be the place to find them.
