O'Meara Scholarship

The Rev. Robert A. O'Meara dedicated his life to the betterment of peoples everywhere. This memorial scholarship reflects his expressed desire to help others improve the human condition. He wanted to help those adults who wished to enhance their current human services skills, to re-enter the human services, or to change their career to human services.

The Percy E. Radford Memorial Award

Dr. Percy E. Radford served as pastor of our church from 1945 until his untimely death in 1956. His ministry in that post-war decade was marked with an enthusiasm and joy that he generously shared with young people. Dr. Radford's concern for the spiritual growth of the youth of our church and his own spirit of selfless service to others is remembered each year in the Percy E. Radford Memorial Award. This award has been given to high school seniors from our church who have demonstrated in their lives with us the same growth and service in Christ that Dr. Radford valued so highly. The first award was given in 1958. The criteria for recipients include regular attendance in age-group activities; outstanding contributions to the life of the church; and evidence of spiritual growth.
