  • Henry Huntington lived at 709 N. Madison died in New York City, of pneumonia, after a week's illness

  • He was the son of Benjamin and Mabel Huntington. He was in charge of the Barge Canel Terminal for nine years. He was transfered around New York State. He was an Elder of the Church, Superintnedent of the Sunday School. Her was active in the Boys Scouts. Mary Platt Johnson was the daughter of a Presbyterian minister. She married Henry in Peekskill on Dec. 6, 1899 She moved to Rome in 1911. They lived on a farm on Turin Road. According to Mary Downing this is now the Anken Farm. Mrs. Huntington taught the Beginners Class for 22 years. She was President of the Missionary Society, President of the Utica Presbyterial Society of Missions, She was President of the Wednesday Morning Club and the DAR. She is buried in Rhinebeck NY
